Aurobay’s Skövde factory is now IATF certified

We are proud to be IATF (International Automotive Task Force) certified! The common goal of Aurobay is to achieve the highest quality results as we move forward to shaping the future of sustainable mobility.

The IATF audit was carried out by Bureau Veritas earlier in the year, alongside audits for ISO 9001 and Environmental standard ISO 14001. The Skövde factory received its IATF certification this week.

The certifications show that Aurobay has met industry requirements enabling us to do business. Being awarded these three standards means that we are not only environmentally responsible but also successful regarding quality, human resources, finance, and other management aspects.

‘People have been incredibly dedicated. Every function within Aurobay has played their part, coordinated by a sub-project leader together with a Process Manager within each department,’ says Annica Johansson, our Head of Quality & Sustainability, putting a spotlight on our teams who worked tirelessly to meet the requirements of the three standards.

‘I have never doubted our success in getting IATF certified. We are very proud that we passed the audit, given the enormous amount of effort it has meant for employees at all levels of the factory, and all other parts of Aurobay. It is great to be able to show the world that we have competent and dedicated employees and sustainable work processes in the factory,’ adds Bjarne Hammar, Plant Manager for Aurobay Skövde.

‘A big thank you for everyone for their dedication to our certification journey,’ said Michael Fleiss, Aurobay Deputy CEO. ‘Gaining our own certifications is a vital part of Becoming Aurobay.’
